Job Summary

RBC Dominion Securities is seeking an Investment Associate to join a portfolio management team specialized in wealth management services for sophisticated clients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide dedicated support to the portfolio management team on investment and money management activities.
  • Support the portfolio management team in general administrative duties in the management of client accounts.
  • Execute on trades as directed, follow up on orders to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Review portfolios regularly and rebalance portfolios with guidance from the portfolio management team.
  • Manage risk dashboard, bulk trading, Investment Policy Statements (IPS), etc.
  • Review reports daily and process any necessary corrections and actions.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary degree in finance or related field.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH).
  • Level I (or higher) of the CFA Program administered by the CFA Institute.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience within the investment industry.
  • Required bilingualism in English and French.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Nice to have: Passion for investments, analysis, portfolio management, meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, strong problem solving, analytical skills, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit.
