Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in administration or education.
  • Must be a full-time resident of an Inuit community for at least ten years.
  • Understanding of Chapter 17 of the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation of Board and local policies.
  • Liaise between the community and the Board.
  • Supervise and manage employees.
  • Manage the organization and administration of Board activities.

Skills

Fluency in Inuktitut
Fluency in French or English
Experience in administration or education
Understanding of Quebec Education system
