A leading industry company seeks an Intermediate Field Technician specializing in floor covering installation. The candidate will work across multiple job sites throughout the Lower Mainland, engaging in tasks such as preparing surfaces, installation, and conducting inspections. Wage rate: $30/hr
Job type: Full time (40 hr. a week , 8 hours a day).
Start date of employment: As soon as possible
Education: Completion of high school is required.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the flooring industry or a related trade.
Work Location: Multiple job sites throughout the Lower Mainland.

Job Duties:
Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to prepare for floor covering installation.
Prepare subfloors, including minor concrete leveling and surface preparation for resilient flooring or coatings.
Measure, cut, and install various resilient floor coverings.
Install flooring systems over concrete in industrial or commercial environments, following architectural specifications.
Apply protective coatings or industrial-grade coverings to prepared surfaces where required.
Use hand tools and installation equipment to properly fit flooring materials, including stair treads and transitions.
Conduct site inspections and assess surface readiness, equipment needs, and safety compliance.
Troubleshoot installation issues related to material handling, site logistics, or adhesive curing.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
Communicate regularly with site supervisors and project managers to coordinate workflow.
Working Conditions:
Work in wet, damp, strong odours, dust, cold environments, outdoors, noisy.
Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch, and kneel.
Repetitive task.
Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
