To meet our growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking an Intermediate Distribution Engineer to join our Power Delivery team, located in our BC offices (Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Prince George, Kelowna or Kamloops).
WSP is a leader in the delivery of Power sector solutions to meet the increasing demand for safe, secure, and sustainable energy for Canadians which requires a substantial refresh and expansion of the electricity network. This position will play a crucial role for conceptual, preliminary, and final design of overhead and underground distribution facilities ranging in voltage from 4.16 kV - 34.5 kV. Focus will be on design of distribution systems both urban and rural. This role involves close collaboration with clients and stakeholders to understand their engineering needs, ensuring successful project coordination. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and consulting experience, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. We work with both public and private sector clients on innovative projects, providing opportunities for our team members to showcase their expertise and mentor the next generation of passionate professionals. In this role, you will help bring WSP's vast expertise, experience, and innovation to support our clients, utilities, and communities in the transformation to a new energy future.

Salary range (in British Columbia): $91,200- $125,400
