The team is growing to meet demand on a range of new commercial projects.Responsibilities:
Create detailed architectural drawings using Revit in collaboration with architects and engineers
Prepare, refine, and coordinate construction documents for commercial builds
Conduct site visits to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and maintain drawing accuracy
Review and interpret blueprints, technical specs, and reports
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and clients to keep things moving and aligned
Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and zoning requirements
Provide technical support to junior staff and contribute to in-house coordination
Utilize tools like Bluebeam to streamline workflows and review project deliverables
Must haves:
10+ years of architectural experience working with the NBC and BCBC, with at least 8 years of hands-on Revit use
Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and building codes
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping calm under pressure
Proven time management skills — you know how to hit deadlines without cutting corners
Registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC)
Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with tools like Bluebeam
Based in British Columbia, Canada
Experience mentoring or supporting junior staff
Exposure to different phases of architectural design from schematic through construction
Familiarity with sustainable or LEED-certified projects
A knack for identifying construction challenges before they happen
