Insurance Sales Producer

As an Commerical Account Executive with Western Financial Group, you will use your insurance expertise to prospect and bring new clients to the organization, ensuring your customers have the coverage they need. We will provide training and support for you to gain your Level 2 Insurance License and take charge of your own earnings.

What a typical day looks like
  • Prospect and up-sell to clients on Commercial Insurance products.
  • Work and life balance with flexibility to create your own schedule to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Consistently generate quality new business by networking and building Centers of Influence to ensure a consistent stream of referral business.
  • Promote retention by building strong relationships and providing quality advice to prospects and customers for long term sustainable growth.
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications.
  • Meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
  • Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met.
  • Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
  • Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry related courses.

  • You are a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customers.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
  • General Insurance Level 1 License/Level 2 an asset
  • Commerical Insurance Experience an asset

Hours: Full-Time, Permanent - 37.5 hours / week

Location: Hybrid in the area of Strathmore, Alberta

Compensation: This is a fully commisson role with a Guaranteed Minimum Income component
