Job description
Instrumentation Technician (Temporary)

The Technician, Instrumentation (Temporary) is responsible for performing support tasks related to laboratory equipment in preparation for and during the laboratory relocation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the assigned cleaning, maintenance, packaging prior to the move of laboratory equipment;
  • Assist in the movement of laboratory furniture (tables, shelves, etc), materials (e.g., gas and liquid tanks), and equipment, as required;
  • Other tasks related to laboratory equipment as needed (e.g., preparation of documents for archiving).
  • May be required to work outside of regular working hours and potentially during weekends to support the laboratory relocation activities.
  • Required to work in a CL2 environment.
Education
  • DEC in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnologies, or related fields
Main Requirements
  • Capability to lift loads weighing up to 25kg.
  • 1 year of relevant experience (A plus)
  • Experience working in industry (regulated environment) is a plus.
  • Good manual skills;
  • Knowledge and understanding of French and English, oral and written, sufficient to carry out written procedures;
  • Good record keeping, attention to details and commitment to achieving good quality work;
