Job summary

A national sports organization is seeking a skilled research professional at the entry level to join its 'Knowledge Edge' team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting both qualitative and quantitative data to enhance athlete performance ahead of major competitions. We are recruiting for a skilled research professional with a passion for excellence in sport performance to join our 'Knowledge Edge' team.

Knowledge Edge is dedicated to capturing insights from New Zealand’s top athletes, coaches, and support staff as they prepare for and reflect on performing at the highest levels of competition. These insights inform future planning by deepening understanding of environments that support wellbeing and performance. They also help NSOs capture key learnings across each cycle.

To Succeed In This Role
  • A strong track record in both quantitative and qualitative research methodology
  • Experience in collecting, analysing, and reporting qualitative and quantitative data, using a range of analytical platforms and tools
  • The ability to create clear, compelling visual and written summaries that support insight and application
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A drive for continuous improvement and innovation
