What You’ll Do / Ce que vous ferez
  • Vous / You’ll build and iterate on gameplay systems using Unreal Engine C++, translating design ideas into robust and performant code.
  • Vous / You’ll work cross-functionally with design and product to prototype, refine, and implement new player-facing features.
  • Vous / You’ll debug and optimize gameplay code to ensure smooth player experiences across supported platforms.
  • Vous / You’ll mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
  • Vous / You’ll write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code to support current and future development needs.
  • Vous / You’ll identify technical challenges early and propose solutions that balance creative vision with technical constraints.

Who You Are / Qui vous êtes
  • Unreal Engine developer with strong C++ fundamentals and experience shipping high-quality gameplay.
  • Experience in architecting and building game features such as combat, player abilities, AI, gameplay systems, or narrative systems.
  • Passionate about game feel, player feedback loops, and crafting fun, responsive interactions.
  • Collaborative with non-technical teammates and able to turn creative ideas into technical realities.
  • Proactive problem-solver in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
  • Familiar with modern development workflows, including version control, debugging tools, and performance analysis.
Nice To Have / Atouts appréciés
  • Experience shipping multiplatform titles.
  • Familiarity with Blueprints and integrating C++ with designer-authored content.
  • Experience with live service games and scalable gameplay systems post-launch.
  • Passion for tools and pipelines that help gameplay teams work faster and smarter.
Salary Information / Informations sur le salaire

Base salary ranges: Senior Game Engineer between 115,000 and 184,125 CAD per year; Staff Game Engineer between 153,750 and 197,250 CAD per year. Salary is determined by role, level, and location. The range reflects target salaries for new hires across S6-approved provinces. Within the range, pay is set by location and other factors. Please discuss your salary expectations for your preferred location during the interview process.
