Compensation

A competitive base salary plus an excellent uncapped commission plan. This in addition to benefits and additional perks.

The Opportunity

This is the perfect opportunity for a driven sales professional who is of a mechanical mindset. A social, self-motivated and hungry sales leader who knows how to make the most of a large geographic territory.

It comes with a roll-up your sleeves, problem-solving element – allowing you to be consultative in your approach, as you assist clients in troubleshooting their preventative maintenance issues.

This role will allow you to be home-based and work remotely within the territory. You’ll enjoy the responsibility and freedom of managing your own sales schedule. One that sees you on the road with visits to engaged and existing clients, while building new relationships to further the growth of the territory and the organization as a whole.

Experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a client-facing sales role, of a technical sales or field engineering nature
  • Experience in lubricants, chemicals, mechanical equipment sales, or key account development
Qualifications
  • A natural problem-solver, who enjoys facing technical problems head on and providing solutions
  • Industry knowledge with mining, wood, paper, or cement
  • Strong time management skills, comfortable with frequent overnight travel within the territory and internationally for training
  • Consistent in call reporting; one to follow-up promptly on lead generation, sample requests, quotes, among other sales processes
  • A keen negotiator, with strong communication skills both spoken and written
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel both within the territory and internationally
  • Fluently bilingual in both French and English
Education

A technical degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.
