Human Resources Administrator @ BFG Enterprise Services | Advanced Diploma

Role : Responsible for the installation and maintenance of communications hardware and networks in retail environments, including data, POS, and PC systems.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Interpret and manage work orders, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform site inspections.
  • Assemble and set up tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Test peripherals, hardware, and software to ensure proper functioning.
  • Install network and peripheral hardware (servers, switches, RF, POS, wireless, printers).
  • Test, review, and troubleshoot installed systems.
  • Travel to customer sites within assigned geographic areas.
  • Perform work on day / night shifts.
  • Install cable supports and manage cabling (UTP, coaxial, fiber optic).
  • Provide work logs and reports.
  • Liaise with customers and store staff regarding installations.

Occupational Requirements :

Technical Requirements :

  • Experience with Network / POS / PC systems preferred.
  • Experience with retail communication networks and infrastructure equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Proficient in computer networking and basic computer skills.
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and own vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Personal Requirements :

  • Willingness to perform shifts, weekends, on-call, and overtime.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Canada.
