North Star Healthcare has an immediate need for several Registered Nurse (RN) ICU – Travel & Per Diem positions. The RN will work in the intensive care or critical care unit of a hospital, part of the medical team attending to patients with critical conditions. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, attending to patients, supporting families, monitoring life support equipment, administering IVs, medications, and observing vital signs and reactions.

Primary Duties Include:

• Closely observe patients, noting procedures and prescribed medications.
• Assist doctors with physical assessments and treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure proper functioning of life support devices.
• Attend to patients' overall needs such as feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, medication, and comfort.
• Work efficiently with other nurses and assistants, providing clear guidance.
• Support and educate patients' families, answering questions and providing care instructions.
