Job summary

A government agency in Toronto is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a full-stack role with a hybrid work model. As part of a 9-month contract, you will design and implement data pipelines, translate technical specifications, and work with technologies like Java, React, Typescript, and more. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience in multi-client web applications, strong Java skills, and knowledge of microservice architecture. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years of hands-on working experience with Java development and Oracle or SQL database.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, NodeJS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines through extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.

Skills

Experience with Java development

Knowledge of microservice architecture

Hands-on experience with RestAPI

Proficiency in React

Familiarity with Typescript

Knowledge of HTML5
