Our client is a well‑established international commercial Real Estate and Building Service Provider. With a major location based in Toronto and a continuing growing client base, they need a talented HVAC technician to add to an already impressive team.
Responsibilities
- Performance of ongoing preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility HVAC, mechanical,electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and other components.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVACsystems and associated equipment, some electrical, plumbing systems,building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains toassigned buildings.
- Perform assigned facility inspectionsand due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
- Respond quickly and effectively to all emergencies.
- Prepare and submit to the management summary reports listing conditions found in the performance of assigned work and recommend and/or suggest action to be taken.
- Study and become familiar with thevarious items of equipment, and the methods required to use them properly,that are required in everyday activities. This includes HVAC, Electrical,Building Automation Systems, fire / life safety systems, and any otherbuilding related equipment.

- Have a strong Health and Safety mindset. Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards, report on themand propose methods to eliminate, mitigate and control them.
- Ensure compliance with National,Municipal, Provincial, City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Must be willing and able to support anyafter-hours building related activity as required.
- Attend periodic training as required tosupport the business.
- Other assigned operational tasks may betypically expected of the Mobile HVAC Technician role.
- HVAC Certificate of Qualification is required.313A license or provincial equivalent.
- Gas fitter I or II is required or Provincial equitable.
- Canadian ODP Certification.
- Must possess and maintain a current validdriver’s license.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of packaged and built‑up HVAC systems, plumbing/electrical equipment repair and maintenance and overall building system design and application.
- Must meet security clearance requirements.
- Candidate will be provided with tools required to perform assigned work scope.
- On call duties and overtime as required.
Compensation
• Paid hourly with a guaranteed 40‑hour workweek. $50 to $55 per hour.
