About the Role

The Human Resources Assistant will work collaboratively withinthe HR team to provide high-quality coordination, administration,and operational support, enabling the delivery of exceptional HRservices that accelerate excellence, foster success, and drive theSchool forward.

The position is ideally suited to someone at the beginning oftheir HR career or someone with expertise in the area looking forflexibility. We are looking for someone who is eager to developbroad capability across all areas of Human Resources within acollaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

About You

You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

  • Hold working rights in Australia
  • Completed a Degree or working towards qualifications inHuman Resources or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in, or ability to quickly learn,maintaining documentation and data management systems,preferably related to human resources
  • Basic knowledge of Australian employment law
  • Excellent skills in using the Microsoft Office suites ofprograms; previous experience using Synergetic will be highlyregarded
  • Capacity to consistently demonstrate a high level ofinitiative and willingness to take direction
  • Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • A highly organised approach to work and the ability tomulti-task, whilst working calmly and effectively underpressure
  • A great team player with a good sense of humour

All team members at CGS are required to have:

  • A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
  • A current National Police Check; and
  • Full working rights within Australia.
