Job summary

A leading company in the energy sector is seeking an HSS Manager to oversee health, safety, and security performance during the commissioning and operations phases of the Woodfibre LNG Project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. As part of their commitment to safety excellence, the manager will be responsible for developing effective strategies and leading a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in HSS experience in oil and gas, chemicals, or industrial sectors.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role, experience with marine terminal operations is a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Canadian HSS regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Health, Safety and Security strategies for the CSU phase.
• Lead the HSS Management System development and improvement.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies on HSS matters.
