HSE Data & Reporting Specialist

Position Summary:

As the HSE Data & Reporting Specialist with Source Energy Services, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a progressive and fast-paced group of professionals in the HSE department. Engaging closely with the HSE Team, the position is responsible for management of critical HSE systems and data, including analysis and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the HSE Operations. The HSE Data & Reporting Specialist will be responsible for continuous improvement of various systems, processes, Reports and documents.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage HSE software

  • Ensure the continual improvement of HSE technology programs to meet the requirements of our field related activity
  • Update HSE databases by searching for improvements and working with software developers to adjust programs as needed
  • Update both input forms and output reports from various systems

MangeSE data integrity

  • Ensure employee roles and status are accurately maintained
  • Manage employee training assignment and compliance information
  • Manage Contractor Management data
  • Run monthly / Quarterly HSE reports using a combination of HSE programs and Microsoft Excel.
HSE Support
  • Understand, Analyze and report on HSE trends from the data collected
  • Aid in the onboarding and orientation process
  • Collect and analyze data for Environment reporting (Previous greenhouse gas emission reporting experience an asset)
  • Ensuring performance metrics are aligned with our HSE strategies and objectives
  • Work with HSE Managers to understand their needs for program data capture in regard to training, orientation, auding and inspections, observations, asset data, and program output reports
  • Manage the HSE performance of the corporate office team
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Related Post-Secondary education is required; either a Health, Safety and Environment Certificate or Diploma and/or CRSP certification or other similar certification is preferred
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ progressive experience in an equivalent Health & Safety role
  • Computer literate, very efficient with data management
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint as well as Adobe
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignments is essential
  • High attention to detail with, especially with regards to statistical data, and accurate report generation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
