About You and the Role

The ideal candidate is capable of helping clients with complex people and culture problems by finding and implementing unique, customized solutions. We are looking for an Ontario-based HR Generalist to join our team. Our hybrid work model means working primarily remotely, with onsite support at various client sites based on business needs. As such, local and international travel may be required from time to time.
What You Will Do
- Day-to-day HR support: Support a team of HR Business Partners with onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, employee relations, investigations, health and safety programs, and other HR disciplines.
- Compliance Support: Ensure all HR processes comply with local employment laws and standards, including creating policies, handbooks, and health and safety programs, and supporting HR audits.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in recruitment efforts including preparing job outlines, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, coordinating client interviews, reference checks, drafting offer letters, and sourcing candidates.
- Software Management: Review and manage HR software updates, spearhead HRIS implementations, and manage LMS and other client software systems.
- Project Support: Support HR programs, review and develop performance management processes, assist with compensation plans, and support KPI reporting and project tracking.
- On-site HR Support: Provide on-site support including attending meetings, workplace investigations, inspections, and more.
Who You Are
- At least 2 years in a client-facing HR support role.
- At least 1 year of full-cycle high-volume recruitment experience.
- Degree or diploma in HR or related field.
- Professional HR designation (CHRP) is an asset.
- Well-versed in employment legislation and relevant regulations.
- Strong time management skills and flexibility.
- Ability to analyze data and attention to detail.
- Passion for HR and market trends.
- Problem-solving skills and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, HRIS, and payroll software.
- Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
