Job summary

A local hotel in Corner Brook, NL is seeking a part-time Housekeeping team member. Responsibilities include supervising the team, cleaning guest rooms, and ensuring hotel standards. • Assist with supervision of Housekeeping team
• Insure hotel standards and policies are followed
• Assist in training, scheduling, and inventory
• Assign rooms, stock and sort supplies
• Vacuum, clean, dust and polish guest rooms
• Make beds, change sheets, remove and replace used towels and toiletries
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Laundry attendant sort/wash/fold/restock

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Physical mobility and stamina required/Bending/Lifting
• Ability to follow instruction
• Detail-oriented, multi-task
• Professional attitude is required
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Excellent time management skills/Good organizational skills
• Bondable is generally required
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Good communication skills are an asset
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is an asset
