A regional health authority in Manitoba seeks a Housekeeping Aide responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring sanitary conditions throughout the facility. Ideal candidates will have a Grade 10 education, experience in commercial housekeeping, and skills in handling cleaning processes. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and the ability to adapt to changing conditions while maintaining confidentiality is essential. The role also requires a valid Class 5 driver’s license and may involve evening or weekend shifts.
Under the direction of the Manager – Environmental Services, the Housekeeping Aide maintains assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly manner to ensure the highest degree of cleanliness. The incumbent also performs routine housekeeping tasks throughout the facility, with a primary focus on general cleaning.
The role requires independent judgment in prioritising work and handling unusual situations, while consistently aligning with the mission, vision and values of Southern Health‑Santé Sud.
This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.
