Job description

MDSearch is recruiting CCFP‑trained Hospitalist Physicians to join Inuvik Regional Hospital, the only hospital facility serving the Beaufort‑Delta region. This role provides inpatient care for both adult and pediatric patients. No formal hospitalist certification is required, but candidates must be comfortable managing a broad inpatient scope across all ages.

Compensation

Hourly rate (no fee for service), along with on‑call remuneration.

Requirements
  • CCFP (required)
  • Comfortable caring for adult and pediatric inpatients
  • Eligible for licensure in the Northwest Territories
Benefits
  • Travel and accommodations fully covered (meals not included)
  • Travel stipend up to $3,000 for locums travelling to Inuvik (for start dates between Jan 5 – March 31, based on travel time)
  • Locum blocks are typically 1–2 weeks, with longer assignments available
