Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Capability of working outside in all types of weather.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect & diagnose faults or malfunctions.
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
  • Maintain condition of mobile service vehicle and inventory.

We are looking for a highly organized, energetic individual to fill an immediate opening for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician. Experience with crushing and screening equipment is preferred, but consideration will be extended to candidates with previous experience servicing diesel, hydraulic, and/or farm equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspect & diagnose faults or malfunctions
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools.
  • Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
  • Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
  • Account for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
  • Maintain condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Additional duties as required.
  • Domestic travel mandatory
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
  • 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Valid driver’s license, with clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons.
  • Capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position.
