Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end delivery for our Canadian business operations, resolving delivery issues on large-scale programs

• Lead the initiation, planning, and execution of complex projects and programs

• Balance a “big picture” perspective with the ability to dive into project-level details

• Act as a trusted delivery and technology partner to EPAM customers, aligning their vision with EPAM’s solutions and capabilities, while collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders

• Take a hands-on role to ensure EPAM’s delivery standards, while bringing to life the best products for our clients

• Proactively recommend technologies, tools, and approaches, while continuing to sharpen your technical expertise

• Build and grow Agile delivery teams, establish projects from the ground up, and advocate for best engineering practices and tools

• Contribute to presales activities, including estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation

• Oversee staffing and resourcing for successful project delivery, supervising technical delivery teams both onshore and offshore

• Govern delivery across stakeholders, resolve complex engineering issues, and ensure top-quality design, code, and solutions — owning the overall customer delivery experience

• Develop and execute succession plans for projects within your portfolio

• Mentor and support talent development programs for delivery leads and managers

• Lead outcome-based setups, delivering on strict commitments and fixed timelines

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software delivery

• 10+ years in senior leadership roles such as Delivery Lead, Team Lead, Solution/Enterprise Architect, or Project/Program Manager

• Proven experience leading AI-powered product or platform delivery (or the ability to drive deep, compelling conversations in this area), with a background in Software Delivery Management and Solution Architecture

• Strong technical expertise in solving customer challenges related to complex migrations and transformations

• Up-to-date knowledge and experience designing and implementing end-to-end solutions (including OOP, SOA, mobile, and responsive applications)

• Demonstrated Agile/Scrum leadership at scale

• Hands-on experience establishing and championing practices such as unit testing, continuous integration, and trunk-based development

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
