As a HW Verification Engineer in the Electronic Product Development group, youwill beinvolved in all stagesof the life cycle of high voltage traction inverters and chargers,from architecture to production, through design and validation.Youwill beat the forefrontto support thevarious production lines, whether in Quebec, China or India.You will be part of a team involving experts from all fields and will need to be imaginative and creativetoensurethe efficiency and the quality of Dana TM4 traction systems.
Analyze and ensure test plan coverage against functional and safety requirements, supporting compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
Draft and maintain test cases ensuring complete traceability and robust validation.
Improve test execution efficiency by consolidating test cases with similar setups, requirements, or functional targets.
Plan and support test execution at overseas facilities (e.g., DITC – Dana India Technical Center), ensuring alignment and consistency.
Execute test cases in an electronics laboratory setting, implement automation where applicable
Participate in design reviews of analog/digital circuits, focusing on safety, process compliance and other technical constraints. Analyze design for test (DFT) of electronic boards
Produce and maintain verification documentation, support quality investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Participate and facilitate design reviews of printed circuits and complete products.
Propose, improve and maintain the processes of design, documentation and release of PCBs.
Write technical reports and support quality problem solving exercises.
Contribute to the research and development of new technologies for electronic testing tools and methodologies.
Your strengths:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
5–7 years of experience in automotive or safety-critical electronics.
Strong knowledge of PCB design and ability to read electrical schematics
Strong understanding of ISO 26262 and ASPICE processes.
Hands-on experience with tools likeCANalyzer, CANape, CANoe or others in testing and debugging embedded electronic systems
Experience using test instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies, electronic loads, function generators, etc.)
Familiarity with FMEDA and safety documentation practices.
Knowledge ofAltiumDesigner, or similar ECAD tools.
Knowledge of Jira, Polarion or similar planning and requirement management tools
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Experience in managing small teams
Rigorous, respectfulof deadlines and able to provide constructive feedback to others
Proactive, autonomous and passionate about product quality.
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
