Position Title: Group Administration Specialist – Bilingual (French/English)
Reports To: Manager, Group Administration
Department: Group Claims and Admin Management
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Schedule: 8:00 AM ET – 4:00 PM ET or 9:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET

Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

What you will be doing
  • Provide excellent client service via phones and written correspondence (e.g. emails, letters)
  • Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
  • Assist plan members and plan sponsors with account activations
  • Administer pay direct drug cards including problem solving utilizing provider\'s software
  • Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions and group contracts to ensure that only eligible claims are paid
  • Provide support to other applicable Group departments by assessing and confirming member eligibility
  • Request medical evidence of insurability when necessary
  • Interpret system audit reports and take corrective action when required
What you will bring
  • French language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, are required
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
  • Ability to interpret and apply contract provisions and administrative guidelines
  • PC skills – working knowledge of MS Office, ability to learn and apply new system applications
  • Ability to handle high volume of work within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
