A leading research university in Halifax is seeking a Graduate Education Coordinator to provide administrative support for its graduate programs in Psychiatry. The Department of Psychiatry is a large, complex clinical and academic department that provides patient care, delivers education and conducts research in the area of psychiatric illness and treatment. The department is an administrative unit of three separate institutions: Dalhousie University, Faculty of Medicine, the Central Zone of Nova Scotia Health ( NSH ) and IWK Health. Reporting to Operations Manager, the Graduate Education Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the graduate programs of the Department of Psychiatry, coordinate the MSc and PhD in Psychiatry Research programs and the Global Master’s in Clinical Psychiatry program.
Note: The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work from within Nova Scotia) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
