How You Will Contribute
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Kinaxis modules, including Demand, Supply, Inventory, and Control Tower, ensuring enterprise-wide optimization.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, IT teams, and business stakeholders to shape the global Kinaxis roadmap while ensuring regional consistency.
  • Standardize planning processes, templates, and configurations in alignment with Center of Excellence (CoE) governance.
  • Design and configure planning workbooks, measures, alerts, dashboards, and scenarios in Maestro to streamline business processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on supply chain planning best practices, leveraging advanced Kinaxis Maestro capabilities.
  • Partner with planning teams to optimize demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and exception handling.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify performance gaps, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
The Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is considered an asset.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Kinaxis Maestro configuration and functional design.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and their integration with Kinaxis.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, including demand, supply, S&OP, or inventory management.
  • Proven ability to design and configure measures, worksheets, dashboards, and what-if scenarios within Maestro.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools; experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools or methodologies to enhance supply chain planning.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies for project management and system enhancements.
  • Knowledge of Kinaxis product releases and ability to recommend relevant enhancements.
  • Previous experience in a Center of Excellence (CoE) role or equivalent governance framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and train planners and super users on Kinaxis functionality.
  • Expertise in driving measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, plan adherence, and inventory optimization.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on global consistency.
Pay Range

The salary range for this role in Canada is $91,600 - $146,400.

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
