The role we are offering you:

We are currently seeking a Global Benefits Specialist to support the design, implementation, and management of our global benefits programs. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, a deep understanding of international benefits practices, and a strong client service orientation. Reporting to the Manager, Global Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with HR partners and external vendors to ensure compliance, competitiveness, and effectiveness of benefits programs (Life, Disability, Health, Retirement Programs, Non-Insured Benefits, etc.) across all regions except for Canada and the U.S.

  • Review the global benefits offering, conduct market analyses and benefits surveys, interpret results, and make strategic recommendations aligned with the company’s philosophy, employee needs, and market trends.

  • Maintain data accuracy in our global benefits management system, propose optimization opportunities, and ensure high data quality to support effective decision-making.

  • Actively participate in global benefits-related projects, including mergers and acquisitions and expansion initiatives, by conducting benchmarking, cost analysis, and developing integration and communication plans.

  • Develop, review, and implement global benefits-related policies and practices.

  • Advise HR partners on the interpretation and application of global benefits programs (e.g., business travel insurance, leave policies, employee and family assistance programs (EAP), etc.).

  • Develop training materials and deliver information sessions to HR partners, managers, and employees.

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a benefits-related role, ideally in an international context.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of benefits programs and regulatory requirements across various countries.

  • Project management experience, with the desire and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong leadership and business acumen.

  • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive global compensation information.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.

  • Knowledge of Workday is an asset.

  • Bilingualism required (French and English).
