What's the opportunity?

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team who will help shape the future of our Business Intelligence (BI) services. This role will focus on generative BI – developing a net new Gen BI experience. This is a unique opportunity to grow in the world of Analytics & BI and work with a team of passionate individuals committed to the mission of building resilient platforms.

What you will do?
  • Design, build, and productionize agentic GenAI systems (LLM agents) that autonomously execute tasks and integrate with users/systems.
  • Keep pace with GenAI technologies to improve the platform.
  • Define metrics, monitoring, and evaluation to ensure solutions meet business goals and user needs.
  • Develop frameworks and prompt strategies to optimize LLM outputs; implement end-to-end GenBI solution in production.
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to design data/AI architectures and integrate with existing pipelines.
  • Build data pipelines and reusable components, document, and present work to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • BS in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.
  • 1–2 years building and deploying ML/GenAI solutions in production.
  • High proficiency in Python; solid software engineering fundamentals.
  • Advanced SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents and integrating them into real applications.
  • Familiar with GenAI stack: LLMs, agents, MCP servers; service integrations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

  • Data engineering best practices (schema, quality, governance), cloud, databases/warehousing, ETL and streaming.
  • Experience with Teradata, S3, Snowflake, Airflow, Hadoop, PySpark.
  • DevOps tooling: Git/GitHub/Jenkins, HashiCorp Vault; Node.js
  • Tools/methodology: Jira, Confluence; Agile/Scrum.
