Hours of Work

The Employee may work up to 37.5 paid hours per week (with unpaid lunch). The specific weekly schedule will be determined in coordination with the Executive Director. The Employee acknowledges that work hours may occasionally vary or extend beyond the standard schedule as required to achieve position objectives and meet operational demands.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing Carmichael Outreach’s fundraising sponsorship initiatives, with particular focus on securing fundraising sponsorships. Key responsibilities include organizing sponsorship activities and collaborating closely with the Executive Director to diversify and strengthen fundraising streams.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and Secure Sponsorships: Conduct proactive research and outreach to secure new sponsorship opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with sponsors to ensure continued engagement.
  • Sponsorship Presentations: Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to attract and secure corporate sponsorships.
  • Tracking: Manage sponsorship pipeline by tracking leads, scheduling follow-ups, and providing regular progress updates.
  • Coordination: Lead the planning, organization, and execution of all fundraising campaigns, including committee management and oversight of logistics from start to finish.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the communications team to develop promotional materials that support fundraising goals.

The Donor Relations position offers a fully remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from your preferred location. The role provides flexible working hours, enabling you to tailor your schedule to fit your individual needs. Additional benefits include three weeks of vacation annually and eligibility for employee benefits for those working over 30 hours per week.
