We are hiring a Bartender!

We are seeking a charismatic and service-oriented Hotel Bartender to join our hospitality team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and has a passion for crafting exceptional beverages. As a key member of our lounge team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service, creating memorable guest experiences, and maintaining a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Set up bar.
  • Break down bar, lock up liquor, and store fruit and juices properly.
  • Accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order.
  • Make cocktails in accordance Beverage Standards using standard measuring equipment.
  • Follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures. No cash tabs.
  • Complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist.
  • Check and replace glassware where needed.
  • Stock and replenish ice at all ice stations.
  • Clean floors in area of responsibility at the end of each shift.
  • Empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary.
  • Be responsible for the inventory of the soda and juices and their rotation of stock.
  • Stock and replenish beer in bottles and kegs when necessary.
  • Serve food items correctly and promptly, following procedures for food from the expediter.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety at all times.
  • Provide proper service of beverages, liquor, and wine.
  • Ensure bar and assigned tables are properly bussed throughout the meal.
  • Follow correct procedures for clearing and resetting tables, including handling of china, glassware, and silverware.
  • Foster a collaborative and unified work environment that promotes teamwork.
  • Follow all safety and security policies; report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions immediately.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of beverage pairing to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to excellence in guest service and teamwork.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Must possess a valid Smart Serve certificate.
