A healthcare organization in Fredericton is seeking a Dietitian responsible for managing nutritional care for patients in collaboration with hospital teams and community services. Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition or dietetics and be registered with the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians. The role involves establishing nutrition care plans, documenting patient interactions, and participating in community health initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate analytical thinking, flexibility, and a strong focus on patient care.
Working collaboration with hospital teams, community services, and other system partners, the Dietitian is responsible for managing the nutritional care of patients or clients. This is professional dietetics practice in either clinical nutrition, community nutrition needs or food service operations towards the attainment, maintenance, and promotion of the health of individuals, groups, and the community.
