Position: Forklift Operator

Location: North America | CAN | Brantford, ON

Pay Range: $21.26/hr - $30.07/hr depending on experience

MTI’s Canadian Pet Care manufacturing site is part of a global business, growing significantly at a rate greater than 50% per year, and creating exciting job opportunities at our Brantford, Ontario location.

We are currently hiring for Forklift Operators at our facility in Brantford, ON.

*The Forklift position is a continuum with the opportunity for advancement beginning at Level 1 and progressing through Level 4 as skills are gained.

Responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
2. Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
3. Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
4. Transport raw materials to production stations.
5. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
6. Help maintain a safe and orderly environment.

OE/Lean

Acts as resource and champion for department continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

1. HS Diploma or Equivalent.
2. Valid certification to operate a forklift.
3. Previous forklift experience.

Working Conditions: Warehouse/manufacturing environment.
