What You Will Do

The Forest Technologist is responsible for forest development activities including reconnaissance, road and block engineering, ecological and riparian assessments, timber cruising and assisting other project team members in all aspects of multiphase timber development on conventional, winch-assist, and cable settings.

What You Will Need
  • A safety conscious attitude, experience supporting safety programs, and developing a team safety culture
  • Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in forestry
  • Registered or eligible to registered with the FPBC as an RPF or RFT
  • A minimum of 2 years of multiphase timber development experience in British Columbia
  • An understanding of the forest legislation, regulation and policy impacting forest planning and management in British Columbia
  • Valid driver\'s license with a clean abstract is a must
  • Experience with helicopter access will be considered an asset
