A local food service company in Metro Vancouver is seeking an experienced individual to supervise food preparation activities, train staff, and ensure quality control in food and services. Candidates should have a secondary school graduation certificate and around 7 months of work experience in the food service industry. This role entails working 40 hours per week in a permanent position.
Qualifications
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Hire food service staff.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
