Qualifications

  • Completed enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program.
  • Hold a valid Food Safety Awareness certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents and team members.
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents.
  • Support with catering functions and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and push/pull wheeled equipment.
  • Support and embrace a resident-centred social culture.

Responsibilities
  • As a Food Service Aide (FSA) joining our Village you will : Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents families and team members.
  • Work in an accurate quick and safe manner.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs (5-20 lb usual) and push / pull wheeled equipment such as carts and trolleys that weigh a maximum of 100 lbs (20-50 lb usual).
  • Possess exceptional time management skills and ability to work in collaboration with a team.
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
  • Support with the preparation of catering functions and events and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
  • Be able to stand or walk for the majority of your shift (8-hours maximum).
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents.
  • Have a valid Smart Serve Certification.
Qualifications
  • Completed enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program
  • Hold a valid Food Safety Awareness certification or equivalent.
