A leading food processor in Ontario seeks a Chief Financial Officer to join its senior leadership team. The CFO will provide strategic financial guidance, oversee budgeting and forecasting, and ensure robust financial systems are in place. Privately owned and operated, our client is a well established and profitable processor of premium quality food. A leading supplier to many of North America’s leading brands and retailers our client is a contract manufacturer of private label products and provides in-house capabilities from product formulation, nutritional evaluation, sensory testing, packaging and logistics.
Located in Ontario a short drive beyond the borders of Toronto, our client boasts advanced and cost effective processing facilities and now seeks to augment its senior leadership team by bringing on a proven Chief Financial Officer.
Scope of Position
The CFO shall provide financial guidance and counsel on all matters relating to the finance function including strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting, business analysis, and corporate growth strategies.
Reporting to the CEO and partnering with all members of the leadership team, the CFO shall be focused on ensuring that the company’s financial systems, controls and processes are properly implemented to ensure the company’s goals, objectives and strategies are pursued and executed with discipline and operational efficiencies achieving best in class status.
