Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the assigned restaurant, lounge, or outlet
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to a large front-line team, fostering engagement and performance excellence
  • Support staffing, scheduling, and recruitment initiatives to meet business needs
  • Ensure the profitability of outlet operations by monitoring and achieving financial and performance goals
  • Review and recommend policies or procedural changes to improve efficiency and service delivery
  • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction results, preparing reports and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Exercise problem-solving and conflict resolution to ensure positive outcomes
  • Oversee inventory administration, cost of goods, and labour control alongside the Manager
  • Support promotions, entertainment events, and special functions within outlets
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations while maintaining a safe, clean work environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in restaurant or bar operations
  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, hospitality, and F&B trends
  • Experience managing a large team and motivating staff in a high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with budgets, cost control, and financial performance metrics
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards, Health & Safety, and Liquor License Act
  • Smart Serve and Food Handlers certification required (WHMIS training provided)
  • Eligibility for AGCO Category 1 Licensing
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience managing in a unionized environment is considered an asset
