Job Description

As a Flight follower and Operations Control Center (OCC) Supervisor, you will play a central role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Starlink Aviation's operations. You will work closely with pilots, flight following agents, the charter and air ambulance teams, and maintenance departments to coordinate and manage all aspects of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain effective communication with pilots, flight crews, and other stakeholders before and after flights to provide the necessary support, make required adjustments, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Establish effective communication channels with pilots, crews, and other stakeholders to ensure the proper execution of operations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to monitor aircraft availability and manage operational disruptions such as weather events and maintenance issues.
  • Contribute to the resolution of operational issues by coordinating with relevant parties and implementing appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including those related to flight planning, safety, and security.
  • Supervise Operations Control Center activities to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct quality investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current with industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements, and implement relevant improvements.
  • Develop and optimize work schedules for the operations team and pilots.
  • Coordinate and prepare logistics for air and ground transportation, customs, catering, and hotel accommodations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure that all required documentation is obtained or requested to complete flight coordination.
  • Enter data into various systems and follow up on invoices.
  • Perform any other related duties.
Required Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, including flight planning and industry best practices.
  • Experience with customs regulations.
  • Proven experience (minimum of one year) in an aviation operations environment, ideally within an Operations Control Center.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (an additional language is an asset).
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts (evenings, weekends, and holidays) in a 24/7 operational environment.
