Overview

This is an interview position. To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, responsibilities include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading/unloading the vehicle, and providing exceptional customer service to our client base. Flexible shift opportunities (minimum and maximum hours, days of work determined based on business requirements).

Responsibilities

• Review orders prior to delivery and ensure accuracy.
• Load and unload the delivery vehicle as required.
• Deliver packages to predetermined customers on assigned routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Maintain timely and accurate delivery performance in accordance with route schedules.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Post Secondary: High school diploma / educational equivalence.
• Professional accreditation/certification: Valid full G license / Class 5 driver’s license.
• Related Experience: None required; one (1) year of customer-oriented business experience preferred.
• Time to learn: 3 months to adjust to the job.
• Mandatory experience: In Quebec, bilingual (French and English).
• Technical: Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training; ability to complete all basic and recurrency training; ability to lift 70 lbs; some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations is an asset.
• Interpersonal: Good interpersonal and communication skills; good time management and organizational skills; excellent customer service; ability to multitask, handle stress, and work in a high-pressure environment.
