Job summary

A local government agency in Grande Prairie is seeking a Fitness Instructor to plan and lead fitness classes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Fitness Instructor Certification, customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to various fitness levels. The position requires evening and weekend availability with a compensation of $40.26 per hour in accordance with the CUPE Collective agreement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Fitness Instructor Certification.
• Must have a minimum of 2 million Liability Insurance.
• Emergency First Aid CPR/AED Certification must be renewed yearly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and instruct fitness classes.
• Ensure classes are safe and effective.
• Be available for participant questions before and after class.

You Bring

• Valid Fitness Instructor Certification

Hours

Must be available to work on evenings and weekends.

Salary/Wage

The rate of pay is in accordance with the CUPE Collective agreement, Fitness Instructor III, and will be $40.26 per hour.
