  • Interpret Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) drawings to determine required updates to the customer's Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) for the Victoria Class Submarine .
  • Support development of Notification of Deviation/Defects (NDs) against parts and systems.
  • Support development and processing of Statement of Quality Requirements (SOQR) for the Victoria Class Submarine.
  • Work within a team dedicated to ensuring qualification data for First Level systems meets schedule and quality requirements.
  • Work directly with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure the required interface support is in place to meet program obligations.

The ideal candidate brings:

  • A Diploma and/or Certificate in Engineering Technology in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical or Marine Systems, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Registration as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with the applicable provincial association, or eligibility to complete such registration within 12 months of commencing employment.
  • 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), Industrial Financial Systems (IFS), System Analysis Program (SAP) or other data-management systems is considered an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (e . g. , Word, Excel, Power-Point).
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
