Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Timmins, ON. The role involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and other life safety systems as required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the highest standards of system reliability and client satisfaction.
  2. Perform verifications on fire alarm systems.
  3. Complete work orders and report promptly.
  4. Respond to emergency service calls and work as part of an on-call team.
  5. Act as a liaison between customers and Troy.
  6. Understand and adhere to applicable ULC, CSA, and Canadian Electrical codes and standards.
  7. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. CFAA Certification preferred.
  2. Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training/experience.
  3. Previous experience with fire alarm systems or an electrical background.
  4. Proficient in computer use.
  5. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  6. Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  7. Bilingual in English and French.
