Financial Analyst, Private Markets Royalties

What it's about
In this position, you will join the Partners Group Private Markets Royalties team in Montreal, QC, Canada with responsibilities across all aspects of private markets royalties’ investments, including due diligence and transaction execution, ongoing monitoring and divestitures.
Responsibilities
- Financial modeling of business plans, cash flows, debt structures, underlying economic drivers and resulting investment returns.
- In depth analysis of investment opportunities across the Music, Pharma, Brands, Sports, Media, Energy and Commodity sectors.
- Performing and selectively leading due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (financial, commercial, tax, due diligence, etc.).
- Drafting investment recommendation documents.
- Conducting various other tasks related to reporting, monitoring, market research, internal requests and marketing efforts with current and potential investors.
What we expect
- Top academic credentials from a leading university.
- 1‑3 years of work experience in private equity, M&A, strategy consulting, leveraged finance or transaction services.
- Professional interest in the Royalty Investment space across different key sectors (prior educational or work experience is a plus).
- Excellent financial modeling, analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Substantial prior experience in financial modeling and in drafting investment proposals.
- Superior organizational competence (planning, scheduling, coordinating and time management).
- Excellent teamwork skills within international settings.
- A high energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor.
