A global energy service provider is seeking a Finance & Project Systems Manager in Calgary. This role involves managing an SAP team, overseeing Finance and Project Systems modules, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive SAP experience, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication skills. Reporting to the IT Business Enablement Director, the Finance & Project Systems Manager will manage a team of SAP specialists that support the main SAP modules Finance, Controlling and Project Systems. In this role, you will manage the team efforts in each of these modules in SAP, manage queues/work assignment, manage integration points with other SAP modules (MM, CS, SD, PM, PP, CATS) and represent the Finance & Project Systems modules within the corporation.
The ideal candidate will be able to drive analysis and manage resources in designing, developing and delivering changes, prioritization/assignment of incidents and act as a liaison between functional and technical/development/project groups. With the small team size, worldwide scope and dynamic nature of the work, the successful candidate will need to be flexible and prepared to manage the team through both small and large initiatives.
The desired individual has strong financial business acumen and is an excellent communicator, capable of explaining the technical elements and managing team efforts with both internal and external stakeholders to bring projects to completion efficiently and effectively. To be successful, this role will need to build strong relationships with key finance stakeholders at all levels of the corporation and have a desire to understand our business.
This role is based in our Southeast Calgary office and supports Enerflex businesses across Canada, the USA, Latin America, the Middle East, Australia, and South-East Asia.
