Area of responsibilities
Management & organization
  • Manages, motivates, trains, recruits and selects in liaison with the country managers and the Group CFO the financial staff of the region
  • Implements the best financial & accounting practices
  • Maintains the most efficient organization by constantly improving the processes
  • Coordinates the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses and information reports and ensures they are prepared on time
  • Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with accounting standards
  • Oversees the financial and accounting processes and ensures compliance with the local accounting and taxation requirements
  • Establishes and maintains appropriate internal control safeguards
  • Responsible for cost control and expenses to guide group and local management

Cash management

  • Oversees treasury & cash flow projections to define cash flow needs
  • Optimizes the DSO and the working Capital
  • Supervises Credit control and more generally Account receivables and Payables. Guarantees that Group policy in terms of credit is properly followed.

Budget & Planning

  • Coordinates, organizes and supports the country managers in planning, budget and reforecasts.
  • Ensures compliances about tax and local regulations

Third parties

  • Maintains the day to day relations with the Group banks
  • Coordinates the audits with the Group external auditors
