We are seeking a sharp, reliable, and detail-oriented leader with proven experience in multi-country operations and a strong track record in scale-up environments. This role requires someone who is not just a manager, but an active contributor, capable of building structure, ensuring financial discipline, and delivering actionable insights to drive business success.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations Management
    • Oversee day-to-day financial operations across the Americas, including Canada, U.S., and Colombia.
    • Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital to ensure financial stability.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control (OPEX & CAPEX).
    • Supervise payroll, ensuring compliance and accuracy across jurisdictions.
    • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
    • Own the P&L and deliver accurate, insightful FP&A reporting.
    • Develop financial models for business cases, ROI assessments, and scenario planning.
    • Track and analyze KPIs to provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
    • Collaborate closely with the CEO, Group CFO (Europe), and regional leadership to support decision-making.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate regulations, and statutory filings across all jurisdictions.
    • Manage external audits, internal controls, and risk mitigation frameworks (including currency, credit, and operational risk).
    • Implement and improve financial processes and systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus).
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and develop finance team members in Canada and Colombia (currently 2 direct reports, with potential to expand).
    • Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and business partnership within the finance function.
Qualifications
  • CPA designation required (CA/public accounting background preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including exposure to tech/professional services and growth-stage/mid-size companies.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country finance operations (Canada, U.S., Colombia preferred).
  • Strong understanding of cash flow, FP&A, compliance, and operational finance.
  • Excellent communication, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bilingual with fluent English (Spanish a strong asset).
  • Hands-on, structured, and adaptable — able to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
