Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000 CAD per annum

Position Summary:

WELL Health is looking for a Finance Data & AI Lead to bridge financial domain expertise with data analytics, automation, and AI capabilities. You will translate finance needs into solutions that deliver insight, automation, and decision support — working with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to bring financial use cases to life.

What you will be doing:

• Lead finance domain use case identification and requirements gathering for analytics, automation, and AI solutions.
• Define financial data models, controls, logic, and metrics to support reporting, forecasting, performance measurement, and automated workflows.
• Collaborate with Technology and Data teams on Snowflake data design, integration, data quality, and governance.
• Support development of dashboards, advanced analytics, and AI-powered insights relevant to finance functions.
• Apply process improvement techniques (Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance financial processes and reduce friction.
• Lead work on AI enablement, including prompt engineering, integration of tools like ChatGPT, and AI controls and security considerations.
• Ensure financial solutions adhere to governance, compliance, and control requirements.
• Enable adoption through documentation, training, and user support.

You have:

• 5+ years of experience in finance analytics, FP&A, finance operations, accounting systems, or related roles with a strong data orientation.
• Strong analytical and technical skills; comfortable with data platforms (Snowflake), BI tools, and financial modeling.
• Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT), prompt engineering, and understanding of AI risk/control frameworks.
• Ability to translate finance needs into technical specifications and partner effectively with data and tech teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong appreciation for controls and data governance.
