What will you be doing!
- Coordinating with the Project Lead and Construction Superintendent - Section Head, drafting and planning the Construction Work Package documentation and requirements for the project. Ensuring that information and actions are recorded before signing off on the Construction Initiation Request (CIR) form.
- Preparing the Construction Work Package (CWP) requirements to be utilized by the project team, to ensure compliance with Quality Program Selection and Safety requirements during the construction phase, and draft the Construction Package Checklist (CPC) to:
- Align with the Scope of Work (SOW).
- Comply with contract requirements.
- Coordinate the initial CPC meeting with the project team.
- Prepare the draft CPC for review and acceptance by the project team.
- Preparing the Construction Implementation Plan (CIP) and ensuring all deliverables are received and accepted for signoff before mobilization and construction start.
- Assisting the project team throughout the project lifecycle with:
- Establishing construction requirements and deliverables.
- Compiling CWP documentation electronically for the CPC.
- Filing and controlling documentation within management systems.
- Compiling contract and CNL documents for the Master History File/Docket.
- Organizing recurring project meetings to update the CPC.
- Interfacing with all organizations to ensure deliverables are completed.
- Reviewing the Master History File/Docket for completeness.
- Completing and circulating the Construction Completion Assurance document.
- Finalizing the CPC for review and acceptance.
- Archiving the Master History File/Docket according to Records Retention procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we are looking for:
- Education
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of construction activities and project lifecycle processes.
- Project management training and proficiency with project management software (spreadsheets, databases, scheduling software).
- Good understanding of project/construction procedures.
- Advanced MS Office skills and familiarity with project management applications.
- Ability to analyze project data and identify issues.
- Knowledge of functions involved in project activities and deliverables.
- Self-motivated, organized, and deadline-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work closely with Construction Superintendent, Section Head, and Manager.
- Effective communicator and relationship builder.
- Quick issue recognition and tactful problem-solving skills.
- Security Clearance Eligibility
- Reliability Status with 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, US, or UK. CNL follows security screening policies.
