A leading construction and engineering firm is looking for an experienced Environmental Field Technician to join their Critical Infrastructure team in Langley, BC. The role involves collecting environmental data and supervising site investigations and remediation efforts at various facilities. Candidates should have a diploma in earth sciences or related fields, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in adverse weather conditions. Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to collect environmental data/samples in the field and support remediation efforts.
This is a full-time field position. The successful candidate will work independently as well as with contractors performing monitoring, sampling and supervision of site investigations and remediation activities principally at active and vacant service stations, bulk plants, distribution terminals and commercial/industrial facilities. In all circumstances they must be able to assume responsibility for the execution of the work. The responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:
